Results of Particle Size Distribution Measurement

As a result of 5 repeated analyzes of the test substance, the particle size distributions of Dv(10), Dv(50) and Dv(90) were measured at 52.6, 102 and 173 μm, respectively, when analyzed on a volume basis. The results were suitable for ISO test criteria (Tolerance %: Dv(10) < 3 %, Dv(90) < 5 %) and reproducible.

The particle size distribution of Zinc cyanide was examined with the wet dispersion system using “the Laser diffraction methods” specified by International Organization for Standardization. The particle size of test substance was measured at 106 μm.

The result was as follows;

1) The particle size distributions of Dv(10), Dv(50) and Dv(90) were measured at 52.6, 102 and 173 μm, respectively, when analyzed on a volume basis.

2) The particle size of test substance was measured at 106 μm and calculated as volumeweighted average size (D[4,3]).
