Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII and ECHA guidance on IR/CSA chapter R7a, the self-ignition study does not need to be performed if preliminary results exclude self-heating of the substance up to 400 °C. The melting point of the test item was determined with DSC method. Up to the maximum temperature of 500 °C no signs of self-ignition were observed. Thus, it can be considered that the test item does not self-ignite up to the melting point of 179.2 °C under the test conditions.
