The determination of the surface tension of the test item FAT 41047/A was based on OECD Guideline No. 115: “Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions” (1995) and on the EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A5 “Surface Tension”, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992. This test was carried out by means of a Tensiometer as per Wilhelmy plate method. Based on the findings of the study, the surface tension of FAT 41047/A was determined to be 72.74 mN/m at room temperature ca. 20 °C. The variation of specification factor was 0.003212 mN/m.
