Additional information

Resorcinol bis(diphenyl)phosphate is a lipophylic substance with a log Kow of 4.93 and a calculated using the "predominatly hydrophobics" (Q)SAR of EUSES 2.1) log Koc of 4.09. The potential to bioaccumulate is also evident in the BCF value of 969 L/kg obtained by read-across from a group similar substances (organophosphate esters). Resorcinol bis(diphenyl)phosphate is readily biodegradable. The hydrolysis rate of resorcinol bis(diphenyl)phosphate is temperature and pH-dependant. The half-life for hydrolysis at 10 degree Celsius and pH 7 is 20 days and 17 days at 20 degrees Celsius.
