Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The cladoceran, Daphnia magna, was exposed to Fyrolflex RDP at mean measured
concentrations of 0.99 to 21 μg/L under flow-through conditions for 21 days. There were no
statistically significant treatment-related effects on survival, reproduction or growth at any of the
concentrations tested. Consequently, the NOEC was 21 μg/L. The LOEC was >21 μg/L and the
MATC could not be calculated. The 21-day EC50 value for adult immobility and reproduction was
>21 μg/L, the highest concentration tested.

Description of key information

Two studies were performed. In a key study according to OECD guideline 211 under GLP, The chronic toxicity (21d-NOEC for reproduction) of Fyrolflex RDP towards Daphnia magna based on measured concentrations was found to be 0.021 mg/l. In the second study lower concentrations were investigated. These concentrations are at the level of the actually water solubility value of the substance. the value of NOEC 21 ug/L was found, this value is higher than the water solubility value of the substance. Both studies provides the same NOEC value of 21 ug/L.
