Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Decomposition:
no

Note: During the preliminary tests, after the melting (from about 180°C) the colour of the test item was changed, and an apparent densification was also observed which may indicate decomposition.

Conclusions:
The melting (softening) range of CAS 113601-85-7 was found to be approximately 73.0 - 95.5°C, i.e. 346.2 - 368.7 K.
Executive summary:

The melting point of test item CAS 113601 -85 -7 was determined in accordance to OECD test guideline 102, in compliance with GLP.

For the determination of the melting point or melting (softening) range, the capillary method using a metal block was applied.

Using a linear heating rate of 0.5°C/minute, the melting (softening) range of CAS 113601-85-7 was found to be approximately 73.0 - 95.5°C, i.e. 346.2 - 368.7 K.
