The measured flash points are corrected to the ambient pressure and averaged to be 103.95 °C.

The resulting average corrected flash point rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C is 103.5 °C.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The flash-point of the test item was determined to be 103.5 °C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.9. Flash Point andDIN EN ISO 2719 (2016)to determine the flash point of the test item using non-equilibrium closed cup method. A Pensky-Mertens apparatus was used for this purpose. The approximate flash point was determined in a preliminary test. The first ignition trial of the main test is performed at a test item temperature 23 ± 5 °C below the approximate flash point determined in the preliminary test. The flame is dipped in the cup at 1 K intervals. The main test was performed twice. The mean flash point corrected to standard pressure of 1013 hPa and rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C was determined to be 103.5 °C.

Description of key information

The flash-point of the test item was determined to be 103.5 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
