Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Log Kow was determined using the HPLC method (OECD 117 and EU Method A.8) and found to be in the range < 1.0 to > 6.5. The substance is not expected to bioaccumulate because, in accordance with ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R11: PBT/ vPvB assessment (Version 3.0; June 2017), organiccomponents with Log Pow < 4.5 are not expected to meet the B criterion (BCF value of 2000 based on wet weight of the organism, which refers to fish in most cases) and, for components with determined Log Pow > 6.5, bioaccumulation is not expected because a decreasing relationship exists between BCF and Log Kow at high Log Kow (> 6).
