Conclusions:
The distribution of particle size for the test item was determined to be: d10 = 16.41 µm, d50 = 84.38 µm, and d90 = 180.08 µm.

Executive summary:

The determination of particle size distribution for the test item was carried out in accordance with the method CIPAC MT 187 ( ISO 13320-1) and following the Principles of GLP. The test was performed using Coulter LS 13 320 with ULM (Universal Liquid Model). A suspension of the test item of the adequate concentration was passed through a laser. The light scattered by the particles at various angles was measured by a multi-element detector and numerical values relating to the scattering pattern were then recorded for subsequent analysis. The percentiles for particle size distribution are: d10= 16.41 µm, d50= 84.38 µm, and d90= 180.08 µm. The mass moment mean (De Brouckere Mean Diameter) of the tested material is determined to be 92.60 µm.
