Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A close structural analogue with comparable physico-chemical and toxicity profiles has been shown to be readily biodegradable (OECD 301 B) and this result has been accepted as applicable to this material by ECB TCNES PBT Working Group and the Rapporteur for the material on the Priority List (France).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

The key study, where data were obtained using a close structural analogue of the test substance, demonstrates that a structurally related chemical achieved average percent degradation of greater than 60 % by Day 7. These data are confirmed by a supporting study, using the same analogue, in which the final extent of test material biodegradation exceeded 60 %.
