Using the pycnometer method, for bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether a density of

                                              0.9528 ± 0.0001 g/cm3at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C

was measured. This value is the mean of two independent determinations. The standard deviation shows very good correlation of the two determinations.

Conclusions:
The relative density of the test substance bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether was measured as 0.9528 ± 0.0001 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C.

Description of key information

The density of the test substance bis(4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl)ether was measured as 0.9528 ± 0.0001 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
