First-aid measures

4. First-aid measures

4.1 Description of first aid measures

General information: Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.

Consult a doctor if irritation develop or persist.

After inhalation: Remove to fresh air and monitor breathing. If breathing becoming difficult,

give oxygen and consult a physician. If breathing stops, give artificial

respiration and consult a physician.

After skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing immediately, wash the skin with plenty of

water and soap without any delay.

After eye contact: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers.

Consult a specialist for medical surveillance.

After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with clear water if the patient is conscious.

Consult with a physician.

4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

Pharmaceutical active substance. Data are not available for human effect and

symptoms.

4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:

No specific antidote.

Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Fire-fighting measures

5. Firefighting measures

5.1 Extinguishing media

5.1.1 Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder, foam.

5.1.2 Unsuitable extinguishing media: None

5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

CO, CO2, HCl

5.3 Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing for firefighting.

5.3.1 Fire hazard class: Extremely flammable solid or danger of explosion

Accidental release measures

6. Accidental release measures

6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Wear protective clothing. Respiratory, eye and skin protection needed.

Take measures against static electricity.

6.2 Environmental precautions: Avoid release to soil, sewers, living waters.

6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

In case of spill adsorb the liquid in a non-flammable material (sand, soil, perlit)

and collect in a suiltable container for disposal. Wash the effected area with

water, and aerate. Wear full protective equipment.

Handling and storage

7. Handling and storage

7.1 Precautions for safe handling

Handling: As a general rule avoid all contact with the material.

Respiratory protection needed.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and chlothes.

Wear protective clothes and equipment.

Do not breath dust, wear appropriate dust mask.

Safety measures: Combustible material. Static chargeable.

During processing of the material if it forms dust, the formation of static

electricity should be considered.

Fire and explosion protection measures:

Combustible material.

7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Protect from heat and moisture.

Keep in a well-ventillated place.
