The surface tension of an aqueous preparation of the test item (>90 % saturation concentration) at 20 °C was found to be 46 mN/m. Even by filtration with 0.02 μm after centrifugation, no clear measurement solution could be prepared (preparation two).

Visually the measurement solution was cloudy and small flakes were observed which corresponds to the irregular trend of the curves.

The test item was surface active.
