Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A study was performed to assess the acute toxicity of the test material to Daphnia magna. The method followed that described in the OECD TG 202 and conducted at the GLP-facility (reliability of the study 1, according to the scoring system of Klimisch et al., 1997).
It was considered justifiable to base the results on the geometric mean measured concentrations to give a 'worst case' analysis of the data.
The 48-Hour EC50 for the test material to Daphnia magna based on the geometric mean measured concentrations was 3.5 mg/l with 95% confidence limits of 3.0 – 4.1 mg/l. The No Observed Effect Concentration was 1.5 mg/l.

Additional information

Only one study is available for this endpoint and this will be submitted as a key study for triisopropylsilyl acrylate. The 48-Hour EC50 for the test material to Daphnia magna based on the geometric mean measured concentrations was 3.5 mg/l with 95% confidence limits of 3.0 – 4.1 mg/l.
