Description of key information

Beta-N-acetylhexosaminidase is readily biodegradable, has a low octanol-water partition coefficient (<0) and is highly water soluble. From this it can be concluded that beta-N-acetylhexosaminidase will not absorb to sediment or soil and hence, will be in the aqueous phase. In addition, no bioaccumulation is expected in aquatic or terrestrial organisms.
