Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods
In accordance with REACH Annex XI a short-term study does not need to be conducted because an appropriate long-term toxicity study on terrestrial organisms is available. Additional data on short-term toxicity is scientifically not necessary; therefore, this endpoint was waived.

Long-term toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods
In a GLP-compliant study according to ISO Guideline 11268-2 with Eisenia fetida the 28-day LC50 was determined to be > 161 mg a.i./kg. The 28 day no-observed-effect-concentration (NOEC) for mortality and growth was 161 mg a.i./kg. The 56-day NOEC for reproduction was 20 mg a.i./kg based on reduced number of offspring per adult earthworm. The NOECcorr considered for the Risk Assessement is 10 mg a.s./kg dw soil.

Short-term toxicity to terrestrial arthropods
In accordance with REACH Annex XI a short-term study does not need to be conducted because an appropriate long-term toxicity study on terrestrial arthropods is available. Additional data on short-term toxicity is scientifically not necessary. Therefore, this endpoint was waived.

Short-term toxicity to terrestrial arthropods
The long-term toxicity to terrestrial arthropods was assessed in a study with Hypoaspis aculeifer similar to OECD TG 225. The 21-day LR50 was determined to be > 4.3 mg a.s./kg dry soil (equivalent to LR50 > 3200 g a.s./ha). Based on reproduction, the ER50 was > 4.3 mg a.s./kg soil dw (equivalent to ER50 > 3200 g a.s./ha). The endpoint for consideration in the risk assessment is NOEC mortality = 2.1 mg/kg soil dw.

Short-term toxicity to terrestrial plants
In accordance with REACH Annex XI a short-term study does not need to be conducted because an appropriate long-term toxicity study on terrestrial organisms is available. Additional data on short-term toxicity is scientifically not necessary. Therefore, this endpoint was waived.

Long-term toxicity to terrestrial plants
In a study according to OECD TG 227 the 21-day ER50 and NOEC for the test item was determined to be > 1836 g product/ha and 1836 g product/ha (nominal), which corresponds to >1408 g a.s./ha and 1408 g a.s./ha, respectively. This value was re-calculated to be 1.872 mg/kg soil dw. The NOER (all effects) was assessed to be 1836 g product/ha (corresponding to 1408 g a.s./ha and 1.872 mg/kg soil dw, respectively).

Toxicity to sooil microorganisms
In a study according to the OECD Test Guideline No. 216 with Mancozeb the 56-day NOEC on nitrogen transformation in soil was determined to be 10 mg/kg soil dw.

Toxicity to birds
In an one-generation study following the principles of EPA Guideline OPPTS 850.2300 the18-week NOEC was determined to be 18.6 mg a.s./kg bw/d.
