First-aid measures

Inhalation:
Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Keep patient warm and at rest. If any symptoms or doubts occur: Get medical advice/ attention.

Contact with skin:
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/ attention.

Contact with eyes:
Flush eyes with plenty of water for few minutes holding the eyelids open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Protect unharmed eye. If irritation occurs: Get medical advice/ attention.

Ingestion:
Immediately rinse mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Note to physician: treat symptmatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
Suitable Extinguishing Media: water spray, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical powder, alcohol resistant foam .
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: Direct water jet.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
During heating or fire dangerous combustion products may be generated: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and other unidentified decomposition products. Do not breathe combustion products - it can be hazardous to your health.

Advice for firefighters:
Dispose of waste water in compliance with current legislation. Do not discharge into drains or rivers. People should be properly trained and equipped with proper clothing and safety equipment (i.e. SCBA, full protective clothing).

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use adequate personal protective equipment as required in Section 8 of the safety data sheet. Provide adequate ventilation. Do not breathe mist/vapours/ spray. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Keep non-involved personnel away from the area of spillage.

Environmental precautions:
Prevent from entering sewers, surface water and ground water. If rivers, lakes or sewers are contaminated, inform relevant authorities in compliance with national legislation.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Cover spills with non-combustible absorbent (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite etc.). Collect and transfer to a closed and labeled waste container. Dispose of waste in compliance with current legislation.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
Do not breathe mist/vapours/ spray.. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Obey safety rules and regulations for handling chemicals. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product. Before breaks and after handling the product, thoroughly wash hands. Use adequate personal protective equipment as required in Section 8 of the safety data sheet. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls:
Adequate ventilation should be provided whenever the material is heated or vapours/mists are generated.

Eye/face protection:
If contact with material may occur, tightly fitting safety glasses or a face shield should be worn.

Skin protection:
Chemical resistant gloves made of e.g. neoprene, nitrile, natural rubber, PVC. Glove suitability and breakthrough time will differ depending on the specific use conditions. Contact the glove manufacturer for specific advice on glove selection and breakthrough times for your use conditions. Inspect and replace worn or damaged gloves.
Wear impervious protective clothing with long sleeves.

Respiratory protection:
In case of insufficient ventilation or exposure to high concentration of vapours, wear a half-mask or mask with appropriate filter e.g. ABEK.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
The substance is not reactive.

Chemical stability:
The substance is stable under normal ambient and anticipated storage and handling conditions of temperature and pressure.

Possibility of hazardous reactions:
Not known.

Conditions to avoid:
Contact with incompatible materials.

Incompatible materials:
Oxidizing agents, acids, bases, plastics.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Not known.

Disposal considerations

Product: Collect waste and deliver to a company with appropriate waste recycle permission in compliance with current legislation. Do not discharge into drains. Do not landfill.

Contaminated packaging: empty, then clean and dispose of in compliance with national legislation. Treat contaminated packaging as the waste product.

The waste code was not assigned due to lack of information on the final product use. The waste code should be assigned in discussion between the user, the producer and the waste disposal company.
