Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.9. Flash Point and DIN EN ISO 3679 (2015) to determine the flash point of the test item using rapid equilibrium closed cup method. A Normalab NPV310 apparatus was used for this purpose. For the main test 2 mL or 4 mL of test item were added to the tempered test vessel. In specific temperature intervals it is tested whether the vapour phase can be ignited using a gas flame as ignition source. The flash-point of the test item was determined to be 110.5 °C. As the test item has a measured flash point > 60 °C, it is not classified as flammable liquid according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the seventeenth time in Regulation (EU) 2021/849.
