Stability in organic solvents and identity of relevant degradation products

Administrative data

stability in organic solvents and identity of relevant degradation products
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the stability of the substance is not considered to be critical
Justification for type of information:
In accordance with Regulation No 1907/2006 "REACh" Annex IX and Annex XI section 1, the study is only required if stability of the substance is considered to be critical (Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, section R.7.1.16).
This can safely be assumed: There are no structural alerts indicating potential for instability for the substance considered, therefore the study is not deemed necessary.
Moreover, based on experience in testing of the substance, no instability was observed with various solvents, such as acetone, acetonitrile, cyclohexane, propylene glycol.
Stability was confirmed.
