Additional information

An estimation on the mutagenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive potential of the target substance was carried out using the QSAR toolbox 4.5.

Even though some concern arises also for the target substance, due to the lack of information on the substance itself and on analogue substances, a classification as mutagen and carcinogen is considered too conservative. Nevertheless, these alerts are seriously taken into account and even if the substance is already used under strictly controlled conditions, a special attention is paid for human exposure and for the environment.

Further information are available in the attachment in IUCLID section 13.2.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Available information on target substance and structural analogues indicate some concern. However, a classification as mutagen is considered too conservative. A classification within the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 is not proposed.
