Description of key information

The 48–hr-acute toxicity of VEGEFLUX SOY to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions in a test performed according to OECD guideline 202 and GLP. The LL50 was higher than 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The 48–hr-acute toxicity of VEGEFLUX SOY to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions in a test performed according to OECD guideline 202 and GLP. Daphnids were exposed to control and test chemical at the loading rate (WAF) of 100 mg/L for 48 hr. The concentration was determined by TOC analysis. Immobilization effects were observed at 24 and 48 hr.

A loading rate at 100 mg/L for the test item Vegeflux Soy does not caused immobilization on

daphnids. The LL50 was higher than 100 mg/L.

Based on the results of this study, VEGEFLUX SOY would not be classified as harmful to Daphnia in accordance with the classification system of EU.
