Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with water.
Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin areas thoroughly with soap and water.
Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
involving this material: polar solvent (alcohol) foam,
carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water spray.
Product arising from burning: Combustion generates toxic fumes of the following: sulfur
oxides, carbon oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, pressure demand and
full protective gear.
Accidental release measures
Floor may be slippery: use care to avoid falling. Contain
spills immediately with inert materials (sand, earth).
Transfer liquids and solid diking material to separate
suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Keep spills and cleaning runoff out of municipal sewers and
open bodies of water.
Appropriate protective equipment must be worn when handling
a spill of this material. See Section 8, Exposure
controls/Personal protection, of the attached Safety Data
Sheet for recommendations (Annex 6).
Handling and storage
Wash after handling and shower at end of work period.
Storage: Store in cool, dry, dark and well ventilated area. Keep
containers tightly closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Liquids: Can be packaged in 55 gallon (210L) steel drums or
bulk containers such as 330 gallon (1250L) non-returnable
tote bins and 275 gallon (1040 L) returnable tote bins.
