Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of greater amounts of dusts seek medical advice
immediately.

Persons with chronical deseases of the respiratory tract
should not work with reactive dyes.

If problems like short breathing or asthma in relationship
with reactive dyes occur, a physician should be consulted
immediately.

If a allergic reaction to reactive dyes is proved any
contact with reactive dyes should be avoided.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water eyelid held open in
order to avoid a discolouring of the eyeball. If necessary
seek the advice of an occulist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of water and clean with soap
and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If necessary seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: CO2, foam, dry chemical or water mist.

Product arising from burning: H2O, CO/CO2, NOx, SOx, HCl, HF.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: protection equipment, respiration protection (dependent on
fire extension and local circumstances).

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid skin contact and the inhalation of the dusts.

Moisten spilt powder or cover it with wet inert material
before the collection in order to avoid dust formation. If
possible use appropriate industrial vacuum cleaner.

Fill waste material into labelled containers.

Persons collecting the spilt product have to take the
precaution measures described in 2.3.1. (Handling).

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance is a skin sensitizer.

Therfore open the containers, weigh the substance, prepare
the solutions and suspensions carefully in order to avoid
dust formation, spilling and skin contact.

Technical measures: Use appropriate tools and if possible
local exhaust devices. By addition of anti dust agents,
development and manufacturing of abrasion poor granulates as
well as liquid preparations the dust formation can be
reduced.

Personel protection measures: Appropriate working clothes,
rubber gloves and safety goggles as well as dust mask P"
(protection step 2, eg as 3M-vlies mask)

During dissolving processes the danger of inhalation should
be reduced by effective local exhaust systems. Skin contact
with the solution should be avoided. Wear the protection
equipment described above.

Storage: Keep store houses according to usual good hygiene
conditions. Close opened containers tightly after use. Avoid
spilt product outside the containers.

international transport regulations.

The original packaging is tough enough to garantee a
transport without breaking and spillages under usual
conditions.

In case of inner transport keep conatiners closed in order
to avoid spillage and dust formation.

If the substance is not transported in the original
containers provide for according labelling.
