A study was performed to estimate the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of 3-hydroxy-1,1-dimethylbutyl 2-ethyl-2-methylheptaneperoxoate by HPLC. The method followed is amongst those described in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 (Method C19) and the OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals (Method 121).The substance was determined to have a log10Kocvalue of 3.3 (equivalent Koc= 2100).
