First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wash
thoroughly after handling. remove material from skin
immediately by washing with soap and plenty of water (warm
water is preferable if readily available). Remove
contaminated clothing and shoes while washing.
Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Intense heat or burning may release toxic gases; oxides of
nitrogen and carbon.

Protective equipment: Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus
and protective clothing (includes fire fighting helmet,
coat, boots and gloves).
Accidental release measures
Wear adequate personal protective equipment. Safety glasses
with side shields (or goggles) and impervious gloves to

under pressure. If dust is present, respirator for dusts may
be required.

Contain spilled material to prevent contamination of soil,
surface water or ground water.

Collect in suitable and properly labelled containers. Avoid
generation of dust in open transfer operations.
Handling and storage
Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated clothing
before reuse. Check protective clothing, particular
impervious gloves, for leaks before use.
In dusty atmospheres use an approved dust respirator.
No other precautions other than clean body covering should
be needed.

Storage: Fine dust of this product can form explosive mixtures with
air and poses a definite fire and explosion hazard at al
times; keep away from ignition sources. Avoid generation of
dust in open transfer operations.
