Description of key information

The self ignition temperature is noted to be higher than 200°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
200 °C

Additional information

The measured auto-ignition temperature of the two substances Hydrocarbons, C10 -C13, n-alkanes, < 2% aromatics and Hydrocarbons, C14 -C19, isoalkanes, cyclics, is 200°C. Based on these results and by applying a read across based on a category approach, the self-igintion temperature of the substance Paraffins (petroleum), normal C>10 is noted higher than 200°C.
