Additional information

The substances belonging to n-Paraffins in the category "Hydrocarbons, C9 -C14, aliphatics, <2% aromatics" and the category "Hydrocarbons, C14 -C20, aliphatics, <2% aromatics" display toxicity levels largely above the substance solubilities. Therefore, they are considered non toxic towards aquatic organisms. Consequently, the substance " Paraffins (petroleum), normal C>10" is also considered non toxic towards aquatic organisms.

Conclusion on classification

As the substance is not toxic towards aquatic organisms, biodegradable and with no potential for bioaccumulation, it is not classified for the environment.
