Description of key information

Terrestrial arthropod toxicity is mainly secondary and is closely related to toxicity to terrestrial plants. Available studies on the chronic toxicity of Nickel to terrestrial arthropods has shown that Nickel’s toxicity is relatively low with NOECs for Nickel in the range of 300mg/kg dw, which corresponds to 50g slags/kg dw. Further study evaluation is in progress and new information will be entered when it becomes available.
