Classification justification according to CLP

Based on the data above, the substance is considered not rapidly biodegradable but inherently biodegradable. No acute toxicity effects were detected up to 100 mg/L of Fosetyl-Sodium. Valid chronic toxicity data are available for fish, algae and daphnia – the lowest NOEC is 10 mg/L for Daphnia magna. Therefore, the substance does not need to be classified and labelled as environmental hazard according to the consolidated version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and further amendments (ATPs).
