As the difference between results was less than 0.03 g/ml; hence two trials were enough.

To calculate absolute density the following equation were used:

ρ = ((m3 - m0) / m3 - m0 + m2 - m4) ρx

ρ = density of the tested material at 20°C;

ρx = density of immersing liquid

To calculate relative density the following equation was used:

ρ204 = ρt / ρ4water

ρ = absolute density of tested material at 20°C, [g/ml];

ρ4water= density at 4°C temperature ca. 1.0000 g/ml;

ρ204 = relative density of the tested material, the absolute density in relation to water at 4°C.

Conclusions:
The average calculated relative density at 20°C temperature was 1.518.

The density determination of the test item has been determined using the Gay-Lussac pycnometer in accordance with EEC Method A3 and CIPAC MT 3.2.1, following GLP. The method was based in measuring the mass of the substance occupying a unit volume at 20°C. The density is calculated by dividing the mass of the tested material by its volume. Results of density determination based on two trials. As the difference between results was less than 0.03 g/ml; hence two trials were enough. The average measured absolute density at 20ºC was 1.518 g/ml, and the average calculated relative density at 20°C temperature was 1.518.
