In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the hydrolysis study (required in section does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable.

As the substance is readily biodegradable in accordance with the column 2 of REACH Annex IX there is no need to conduct the biodegradation in water and sediment study (section and and the biodegradation in soil study (section

A study (Klimish 1) on the estimation of the partition coefficient n-octanol/water (Kow) by HPLC method (according to the OECD guideline 117) showed a log Kow below 0.3. According to the column 2 of the annex IX section 9.3.2, the substances is not considered to be bioaccumulative if the Log Kow is below 3 and there is no need to conduct additional test on aquatic species.

As a consequence, it is not required to test additionally the bioaccumulation properties of the substance on aquatic species.

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the adsoption/desorption study (required in section 9.3.1.) does not need to be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential of adsorption. The logarithmic partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) of the test item was determined to be below 0.3 (smallest available reference value) using the HPLC method. Moreover the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidely. As a consequence this part can be waived.
