Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are no reliable data for the substance. However a 48-hour EC50 of 331 mg/l and NOEC of 94 mg/l have been determined for the effects of the structurally related substance, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (CAS 919-30-2) on mobility of Daphnia magna. A 48-hour LC50 of 580 mg/L and NOEC of 336 mg/L have also been determined for the effects of the same read-across substance on mortality of the marine invertebrate Acartia tonsa. The test substance is susceptible to hydrolysis and it is therefore likely that the test organisms were exposed to the hydrolysis products of the substance.

The studies were conducted according to appropriate OECD and ISO test guidelines, and in compliance with GLP, and were considered to be reliability 1 (reliable without restrictions). Read across to the registered substance is considered scientifically justified; the read across is considered to be reliability 2.
