Data are not available to allow the distribution of dimethyltin dichloride within the environment to be modelled. However, the substance is highly soluble in water (823 g/L) and has a low Kow (-2.18) ; therefore it is unlikely to be associated with soils or sediment to a significant degree but is more likely to be associated with water.
