Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling point/boiling range)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Boiling pt.:
ca. 232 °C
Atm. press.:
995 mBar
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
ca. 232 °C

Details:

The test item shows a boiling and/or thermal decomposition at ca. 232 °C (at 995 mbar) according to the definition in OECD Guideline 103 (mean value from a repeat determination; 1st -heating run).

232 °C (from 1. to 3. measurement)

From 212 °C, the test item shows a boiling and/or thermal decomposition with evaporation of the decomposition components.

The DSC measurements were confirmed by means of TGA (thermogravimetric analysis) measurements under the same measuring conditions.

Description of key information

ca. 232 °C at 995 mbar (boiling and/or thermal decomposition)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
232 °C

Additional information

The boiling and/or thermal decomposition of the substance were determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry according to OECD Guideline 103.
