Additional information

No experimental data are available for 1 -ethylpiperazine (CAS 5308 -25 -8). The toxicity of 1-ethylpiperazine (CAS 5308-25-8) to algae is assessed with a read-across approach to the structurally similar substance: 1-methylpiperazine (CAS 109-01 -3). A GLP guideline study according to OECD 201 was conducted with Desmodesmus subspicatus under static conditions with analytical monitoring. The 72-h ErC50 > 352 mg/L (nominal, analytically verified, pH-adjusted, BASF SE, 2013, rep. no.: 110907AG).

Referring to 1-ethylpiperazine (CAS 5308-25-8), the substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to algae, based on this read-across approach with the structurally similar substance.
