Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
259 °C

Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch1 study from Bütfering (2012) the self ignition temperature of Sulfosuccinic (FA C12-18)E, 2Na was determined according to EU method A.16. The test item had a self ignition temperature above 400°C. Self ignition started at 259°C. Therefore the test item a Relative Self-Ignition Temperature according to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A. 16.
