Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No determination was possible according to Method A6 Water Solubility of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.
The water solubility of each set of components was therefore estimated using the computer-based atom fragment contribution method, WSKOWWIN, version 1.41a, © 2000 US Environmental Protection Agency.

For risk assessment the value of the water solubility has been set at 1E-03 mg/L, the minimum validated value in EUSES.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
0.001 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

No determination was possible according to Method A6 Water Solubility of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995, due to the following reason:

  • During preliminary testing, it was noted that the test item formed fine dispersions in water that could not be cleaned up fully. Therefore, as the final solutions would not be free from excess, undissolved test item, it was concluded that any practical testing would not be possible.

The water solubility of each set of components was therefore estimated using the computer-based atom fragment contribution method, WSKOWWIN, version 1.41a, © 2000 US Environmental Protection Agency.

The estimated water solubility values are presented in the following table:

Table 9.1

Components

Estimated water solubility at 25°C (g/l)

A

~2.4 x 10-6

B

~2.0 x 10-15

C

~1.0 x 10-4to ~1.7 x 10-4

D

~1.2 x 10-12to ~8.7 x 10-14

E

~9.6 x 10-7

For risk assessment the water solubility was set at 0.001 mg/L, the lowest validated value in EUSES
