Description of key information

The substance was tested in three independent screening tests for its biodegradability. As a result, it can be concluded that the substance is hardly biodegradable and potentially persistent in the environment (301F: 0%; 302B: 9%; anaerobic test: 2%).

As the chemical safety assessment does not indicate the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance, further simulation tests are not necessary.

Additional information

The substance was tested in three independent tests for ready biodegradability, inherent biodegradability and anaerobic biodegradability. All tests show that the test substance is not biodegraded. Thus, a persistence in the environment is assumed.
