The substance is a light yellow liquid with a viscosity of 42.6 mPa∙sec at 20 °C. The substance does not boil when heated, but decomposes and darkens in color at approximately 235oC. The flash point is 146oC, and the autoignition temperature is between 349 and 352 °C. The freezing point is between 10.9 to 14.3°C. The vapour pressure is relatively low, at 43.5 Pa. The substance is slightly soluble in water (20 mg/L) and has a log Kowof ≥ 4.68. It exhibits rapid hydrolysis in water. There are no physico-chemical properties which are considered hazardous.
