According to 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 classification criteria, no classification is required.

Conclusion on classification

No toxic effects were observed. The substance is readily biodegradable and the log Kow is 6.12. 1,18-Octadecanedioic acid can be concluded as not bioaccumulative (see Chapter 4.3). 1,18-Octadecanedioic acid is not classified to be hazardous to the aquatic environment according to EC 1272/2008 (self classification).
