Additional information

Petrolata are high boiling point, semi-solids. Therefore, the determination of vapour pressure is not considered to be necessary (CONCAWE, 2009). However, vapour pressure values of 0 to 20 Pa at 80°C for petrolatum and <1 Pa at 25°C for petrolatum oxidate have been reported by EWF (1990) and ECB (2000), respectively.
