biodegradation in soil: simulation testing
Data waiving:
other justification
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely
Justification for type of information:
According to REACH regulation Annex IX column 2, biotic degradation testing does not need to be conducted, if the substance is readily biodegradable. Biodegradation could not be proven up to now, but is expected, based on the readily biodegradability of substances with close structural similarity.
