No experimental data on the assessment of transport and distribution of MPA is available.
The study on adsorption/desorption does not need to be conducted in accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII (required in section 9.3.1) as from the physico-chemical properties of the substance (e.g. a low Kow) only a low adsorption potential can be expected. For MPA a log Kow of << 3 was determined experimentally. As an additional information, a Koc of 2.214 was derived from an acceptable calculation method.
