Description of key information

The substance is stable, not corrosive to metals and not self-heating.

Additional information

- The substance is stable.

- UN Test method C.1 as described in the ‘Manual of Tests and Criteria’ (part III, sub-section 37.4) is applicable only to substances and mixtures in the liquid state. The test substance is a solid. Therefore, the test criteria of metal corrosion do not apply.

- According to the criteria of UN recommendations on the transport of dangerous goods UN N.4 which is cited in the GHS chapter 2.11 the substance is not self-heating.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is stable, not corrosive to metals and not self-heating, and hence no classification according to both Directive 67/548/EEC and GHS (Regulation EC 1272/2008) is required.
