Additional information

As the test material is a mixture, toxicity cannot be contributed to any one substance in the mixture and therefore all PNEC values are based on the nominal EC50 and NOEC values derived using Water Accommodated Fractions (WAF).

Conclusion on classification

The substance is not classified for the environment. The lowest LLC50 value for algae is 15 mg/L and the log Kow is > 4 which indicates a potential classification as Chronic Cat 3. However, both long-term NOEC values for daphnia and algae are greater than 1 (lowest NOEC value from the 72 -hour algal inhibition study = 6.25 mg/L) therefore classification is not required.
