Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of glycerine carbonate was determined in a GLP study according to test method A15 ((EC) 440/2008, Annex Part) to be 404°C at 1013 hPa (Younis S, 2014).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
404 °C

Additional information

Hot flame autoignition temperature was determined to be 404°C at 1022 hPa. Correction to 1013 hPa results in the same value for the autoflammability.
