Additional information

The solubility of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 105, EU Method A.6 and EPA OPPTS 830.7480 using the shake-flask method. The solutions were analysed using HPLC. Under the conditions of the study, the solubility of the test material was determined to be 25.7 g/L in pure water at 25 ºC. In aqueous buffer solutions the solubility of the test material was determined to be 102.5 mg/L at pH 5.4 and 25.5 g/L at pH 7.6 and pH 8.1 respectively.

The study was performed in line with GLP and accepted standardised guidelines with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles of assessing data quality outlined in Klimisch (1997), and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.

The available data are considered complete and the result determined, 25.7 g/L at 25 °C, was taken forward for risk assessment.
