Additional information

Conclusion on classification

For the 3 trophic levels (fish, invertebrates and algae), studies on the short-term toxicity of the test substance are available (the long-term toxicity has not been investigated):

- 96h-LC50 for fish: >100 mg/L

- 48h-EC50 for invertebrates: 48 mg/L

- 72h-NOErC and ErC50 for algae: >100 mg/L.

The substance is not ready biodegradable and has a low potential for bioaccumulation (Log Kow is 2.17).

Based on all available data, the test substance does not have to be classified for the (aquatic) environment as an acute aquatic hazard according to the CLP Regulation (Regulation 1272/2008).

Based on the fact that the acute 48h-EC50 value to invertebrates is within the range > 10 to ≤ 100 mg/l and the substance is not ready biodegradable, the substance is classified as Cat. Chronic 3 for the environment according to CLP (Regulation EC 1272/2008)
