Description of key information

From the experimental data obtained according to CIPAC method MT 187 and OECD guideline No. 110, it can be concluded that 40.0% of the chenodeoxycholic acid sample presents a particle size lower than 50 μm and 36.7% of test item was found above 75 μm.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of chenodeoxycholic acid has been analyzed according to method MT 187 and OECD guideline No. 110. The average percentile size for 10%, 50% and 90% of the sample were 25.9 µm, 62.9 µm and 156 µm, respectively. In the same study it can be concluded that 40.0% of the test item presents a particle size lower than 50 μm and 36.7% of test item was found above 75 μm.
