no oxidizing properties
In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Bütfering (2012) the oxidizing properties of Sulfosuccinic (isoFA C10)diE, Na were intended to be analysed according to EU method A.17.
Due to the sticky and waxy properties of Sulfosuccinic (isoFA C10)diE, Na (freeze-dried), the test item could not be milled and mixed with Cellulose. Therefore the test methodA.17. "Oxidizing Properties (for powdery Solids)" could not be applied.
As the test item shows no melting up to 197 °C (decomposition), it also eliminates the possibility of an investigation as a liquid according to the method A.21.“Oxidizing Properties (for liquids)”.
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the oxidising properties study does not need to be conducted as the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of the chemical structure. Based on the chemical structure, the registered substance has no oxidizing properties.
Classification is not needed since the registered substance has no oxidizinbg properties.
